Not seeing any dove hunt postings…

Dove season has been open for a week and no reports. What’s up, guys? Your season length has doubled and daily limit increased by half and no one is taking any? What gives?

I wish.... Just haven't had time. I got my tag burning in my pocket. I hunt with a slingshot though, .410 is backup when I fail too many times . Got some Eurasian hanging around the house and my route to work has me scouting many on powerlines hanging out.

I used to religiously Dove hunt every September, I’m not sure why I ever stopped…? I may just have to give it a go one of these evenings, I’ve seen lots of them around.

I've hunted them sporadically over the years. They split after the first frost which is usually a week or so in to the season here.
Eating grouse as I type....seems more efficient across the board.
