Made from alloy castings machined with fine tolerances. Line guard protects cage from grooving by the line. Adjustable drag. Dual checks allow the reel to be operated as left or right hand wind. Contoured non-slip reel handle. Quick release latch on line drum. Perforated line drum aids ventilation of line. Black finish which suggests it was made pre-1965.
