DOWN THE LOCAL DITCH BEFORE THE CROWDS TURN UP

Well that was the plan but the crowds showed up a week early even though the fish were not keying on the salmon flies, But we had a good day for two old farts and fish were caught and good cigars smoked as we floated down dodging the other boats, First pic looking back up stream as we were the last boat down
Time to leave the river alone for a week or two until the crowds go home or find a spot to fish were there is no one else fishing

Right after the hatch is a good time to fish, it doesn't get too hot yet, and they are still looking up.
