Yes, nice rustic place with several lakes to fish. Generator power for a few hours each day. Good meals. Boats with small outboards at each lake. No more than two boats on a lake, and I usually had a lake to myself. The fish are not very large, however. Topped out at 16" as I recall; maybe 17.

Never fished Caverhill, but it looks great and I’d love to check it out. I’ve fished a few other camps in the area. Thuya (Rustic Resort) I went to a few times as a kid and caught fish up to 3lbs…some of the outer lakes had 6lb+ back then, but I’m not sure about now. I haven’t been to Skitchene, but I hear good things about that too. Meadow Lakes I go to every year and there is a good mix of lakes with lots of fish and lakes with big fish to choose from. The biggest fish caught by anyone last year was 7lb+. My biggest was in 2021 (8lb, 12oz)…there are definitely still big fish around. All wild, no triploids.
I’m an interior BC newb and I’ve never been to Caverhill. But I think there’s a reason Meadow and Rock Island get a lot of repeat business and book out way in advance. I’ve put eyes on big fish on my two visits even if the fish I found have topped out around 18-19”.
