4wt Beach Shooting Lines

Any good front heavy 4wt beach lines out there?

Currently I’m using heads with loop to loop for my 4wt outings, but the overhead cast is getting to me. The single spey is useful at high tide but ultimately want an easy shooting overhead line.

Was thinking the SA mpx?

What about an OPST smooth? Its an integrated line and can be cast overhead. I use a rio costal quickshooter, but doesn't come in a 4 wt. 5 is the smallest.

Fair point, I have two integrated lines for 7wts that remove some of that clunk when I need.

The 4wt class is slim, might have to go that route

@Scudley Do Right sort of like an an MPX but with tapered sink that is nice! 30gr heavier but about the same head length hmmm

I have used this for the last year.

I fish this in 5wt in the lakes. It casts really well but being S5 it's very skinny and tangles a lot when it's cold. Thicker intermediate might reduce the tangling.

I haven't found the s1/s3 to tangle noticably. There are definitely worse in that department.
