All right OMJ, I'm calling you out. It's fine if you like or don't like rap, SB halftime shows, Seinfeld or anything else. That's what this country is all about. I'm all about letting people enjoy what they want so long as it does not bother others. But to compare two things when you admit you have never seen one of them...well, that just doesn't make any sense.
I'm glad folks liked the show. I guess that's why I'm not employed by the NFL working on their committee to find out what people like and don't like. I would have been wrong. I don't particularly like the music played by the performers this year but that is not the reason why I didn't watch. Even when there was performers I really liked performing during past SB halftime shows, I still didn't watch. I figure if I'm going to park myself in front of a screen for the better part of three hours, when there's a break in the action, I'm getting out of my chair and doing something. For me it's about the game, not the pregame show, the halftime entertainment, or the post game show. But those that want to view the rest of it, knock yourselves out.
