The 11'7" 8WT Epic waters was a beast! Actually I loved all the Nam rods, but that's the one that I would buy right now to fill the hole in my lineup and I was casting nearly as far with it as I did with much longer sticks. Other fave was the 7127 Burkie, just a sweet and effortless feel to it.

Yea, I don't know how good / bad the access upriver is but its a pretty stream near the hatchery, small though. I caught a real nice hen close to the mouth on a orange shrimp pattern in the late nineties or early 2000's, which is still probably the largest fish I have landed on a flyrod.
