I have a 2 piece Wonderod I bought new in June of 1964. I use it with an old Pflueger reel. I don't use it often, but I enjoy it when I do use. After 62 years the varnish on the wraps has yellowed a little, but everything is still tight.

Looks like an eagle got one of your neighbor's chickens. I had an eagle pick up a chicken about 10 feet in front of me. The chicken seemed to eject some of the feathers on impact from the eagle.
