Sorry to reopen an old thread but I had a question as a new fly fisherman. I've been looking for my first rod and have found myself stuck on whether to get something cheaper like the Douglas LRS 5wt or something like this Echo Trout X. It makes sense to go cheaper at first but I'd rather not...
