A bunch of lakes between Merritt and hwy 24 that offer everything from paved roads to goat trails to get to and resorts to rec sites to stay in. The Freshwater Fisheries Society of B.C. plants over 800 lakes in bc and has published info...

Fly Fishing in the San Juans

We used to fish for quill backs and copper rock fish on the edges of the kelp, we'd keep a couple for dinner. I prefer them to lings for eating. It was a blast but those days are gone.

    Even Year Pinks?

I've seen them in the Skagit on even years. A few years ago I was up above Marblemount and saw the tail portion of a pink laying in the shallows.

Good rod wt for freshwater Steelhead?

I cut my Steelhead fly fishing teeth on a 10' 7wt RPL, wish I still had it but I left it leaning against a bush one day. Now I have a 10' 7wt Echo, plenty of rod for me.

NFR Euro Cup and Copa America Finals

I wish they would hand out yellow cards for flopping, some of those guys are shameless. You watch the replay and the guy was barely touch, yet he's rolling around on the ground like his leg is broken. You really don't see that in the women's game.
