We see one every year or so on our front porch here in Tumwater. They seem to like our porch light. We always find them hanging out by the door after dark or in the morning. They seem pretty hungover after a hard night of partying. They will actually hiss at you if handled.

Not much wetness, but we did see this sunset last night: I haven’t heard of any nearby fires (Olympia), but I’ve never seen the sky so bright with colors here. The picture doesn’t do it justice.
