    Landing net for pontoon

Are these from bentwood watercraft? I searched bentwood fishing nets and didn’t come up with with anything other than bent handled nets. How much do those run? They look nice!!

    Pontoon transportation/ hitch rack ideas

I guess I shouldn’t have said tedious. Maybe more impatient. Once I get to the spot I just want to hit the water right away! I’m going to assemble the frame fully and see if I can squeeze it in. I have a pretty nice pump for my float tube but an electric one would be even faster.

    Pontoon transportation/ hitch rack ideas

I have a bike rack that folds like that. I was thinking of modifying. Don’t know if it’ll fit with my spare tire in the way but I think there is extensions.

    Pontoon transportation/ hitch rack ideas

Just picked up a barely used CA Colorado Pontoon for a steal yesterday. I knew going into this transportation of it would be a challenge. I could break it down most of the way and carry it in my 2 door Bronco. It’s not hard to do but tedious. I could car top it, but broncos are tall. I’ve seen...

    Landing net for pontoon

Was wondering what would be a good size (length) net for landing trout from a pontoon? I have a 9ft rod and a 10ft trout Spey rod. I know my wading nets will be too small.

Where do you get these indicators? I may have missed it in the thread. They look better than the cheap foam ones

Non-Fly Something different but fun to “tie”

“Tied” up something dumb just to have some fun. Just a hoochie with a spawn articulated shank, some flash, bead chain and hook. Tie a quick style clip to the end of your leader and you have a quick change hoochie/hook for your buzz bombs. Sure it probably could be bought but I was bored.

    2024 Fishing Aspirations

Just had my 3rd shoulder surgery in August. I’ve come to terms that casting normally (even gear fishing) is going to hurt. My wife got me a 5wt opst trout Spey rod for SRC this Christmas. My goal this year is to learn to Spey cast in the sound this year.

    Puget Sound

I’m genuinely curious. It’s pretty high up there! Don’t know how long it’s been there but it’s at one of my favorite beaches, just haven’t been out in about 6 months.

    Vise base/tool caddy

I usually use this for working in the garage but I had an extra and an idea. Fits my Peak vise very snug. Also fits thread bobbins and small resin bottles. Got it from harbor freight. Don’t remember the cost but it was pretty cheap. It’s non slip, rubbery and heavy.

Any SUP boarders in here that fish?

I thought it was gonna take a miracle for my tubby self to paddle one but I did it. My first time was in Hawaii and they said I need a “healthy” size board. Which meant a huge board. I really liked that they said healthy

Any SUP boarders in here that fish?

I’ve done it a few times (just paddle boarding) and it is a ton of fun! I was just in Hawaii and saw people fishing from paddle boards in a relatively calm area and thought maybe it could work here. Didn’t take into account of our huge tidal swings we have. Come to think of it, I think they...

    Back at it

As the title says it, after a few years off, I went and swung a fly rod for a bit. I’m out of my quarantine as of today so decided to sleep in, enjoy the morning at home then went out. I went to a well known state park And started casting. My cast was terrible, hitting me in the back of the...
