    Lithium jumpstarter powerpack

Big fan of the little lithium jump boxes. I have a mid-size NOCO in my Tundra and the wife has a smaller one in her car. So much nicer than jumper cables!

    SFR Vevor Chamber Vac Experience

Tough to imagine going back to a “suck & seal” style after using a chamber, for sure!

Worst case of blue-green algae I've seen on a western WA lake 11/30/2023

Is that truly the “Blue Green Algae” that typically rears its head in the summer and screws up swimming? Not saying g you’re wrong by any means, just that I wasn’t aware that it could hold on into the colder weather. Seems like it peters out pretty quick in my area each year.

    NFR This stove rocks!

A few things I’ll put in, heading back to the beginning of this thread. It was already figured out, but the majority of micro-hoods can be configured for interior filtered circulation or exterior venting. When you take the thing out of the box for install, you need to ensure that the blower...

    Evan's boat projects: floor replacement

Medium Density Overlay, if I remember correctly. Think plywood, with a thin face and back of MDF (the good particle board). Commonly used for big signs. Also commonly used for boat floors by many manufacturers. Good solid stuff.

    SUP/Paddle Board Repair

That’s pretty nice that the manufacturer is sending you a replacement. Good SUPs ain’t cheap! Side note, I’m a little surprised that they haven’t started to provide a pressure relief valve on these to help mitigate this problem. This may not be a a super common issue, but you’re certainly...

    A skunk and a Redneck

Assuming this thread will eventually evolve into a PDX cyclist rant…

    A skunk and a Redneck

I see the flaw in my plan…. I’ll revise! At 10:15, politely ask for some peace. After they pass out, go shut it off….

    A skunk and a Redneck

By 10:15, I would have politely asked them to cut the motor. At 11:00, I would walk over and shut it off.

I may or may not have had a cow in my cars on occasion in my youth, but you can’t prove it.

Anyone use a blackstone (or other) griddle? Do you like it?

Oh my. That would be a killer for shipping….

Anyone use a blackstone (or other) griddle? Do you like it?

Hmmm. I hadn’t thought about this seriously. I’ll dig things out and shoot you some photos if you’re serious. It’s all in great shape and in the canvas bags that are available for the stove and griddle. I wonder what this is worth… I also wonder wheee you’re at…

    NFR Bob Barker

Every time I see a dog with swinging’ nuts wandering around, I’m reminded of Bob. “Spay and neuter your pets!”

Anyone use a blackstone (or other) griddle? Do you like it?

I’ve had a 3-burner Camp Chef with a heavy steel 2-burner wide griddle that fits it perfect. I used the crap out of this thing for camping trips over the years, but it weighs a ton… When we bought our RV, it was no longer convenient to pack the the big Camp Chef. I picked up a Blackstone 22”...

    Republican Debate

I’ll bet you lunch that I’ll moss the next every one of them… I put as much weight on campaign debates as I do their commercials. I 100% vote against threads with topics like this, but must admit that I am super impressed with how well this is going. Good job keeping your shit together...

    Rubicon Trail 2023

We’ve migrated toward Johnson Valley and Moab for most of our wheeling these days. Rubicon and Fordyce are closer, but small areas in comparison. Would certainly spend a lot more time there if they were in my back yard! But, it seems like we always fight the mosquitos or yellow jackets when...

    Rubicon Trail 2023

Been there a million times, but have only bathed in Buck. Never fished it! You took the right path. Coming in from Loon isn’t worth the added road miles anymore. We used to do it the “right way”, but not in the last 10 years or more. Such a fun and beautiful trail to enjoy. Nothing...

    Non-Fly Tuna 8/10 - 8/11

I should be there in Hammond to verify his catch, boys. Don’t want any fish stories flying around! Lol.

    Astoria this weekend???

Think I may split out of town a little earlier on Friday than I was planning. I'll give Hammond a shot first and see if I can get parked. If you see some fella wearing a lime green body suit and wooly chaps and sparkle boots hanging out by a root beer brown Tundra, please let me know. He...

    Astoria this weekend???

OK. Called and chatted with Jessica at the Warrenton Marina. First come, first serve at both Warrenton and Hammond, so I'm rolling the dice. I also called the Klaskanine River RV Park for availability. He can get me dry camping, but it's a ways out of town... Prefer to be near the action if...
