    Resin body chironomids

So far there’s been some success but not a ton of time fishing them yet. I’m pretty confident they’ll be just fine, at least they better be for the amount of work tying them 😂

    Resin body chironomids

I’ve been tying these resin body and resin segment chironomids for well over a year. It’s kinda been my labour of love. I don’t have a ton of experience fishing them yet but I have sent a few to friends who have had pretty good success. It’s not an easy tie, more artsy than practical, but...

    What's in your vise?

Thought I’d throw this one in. I’ve been working with some long (6-8”) natural alpaca hair given to me. Colours are brown, cream, and a greyish tone. It’s really quite easy to wrap only using a dozen hairs or less.

Well well 😊 thank you so much gang. It’s been a busy day keeping up with social media today lol I truly appreciate the support and encouragement I get. I don’t tie commercially so the reward is knowing people enjoy seeing what I come up with. I’ll definitely be tossing this into the deep come...

    What's in your vise?

It opens up a ton of colour options and has no effect on the resin curing. The juicier the marker the better the mix. I’ve used everything from Sharpies to Copic markers. Paint pens coagulate and don’t cure. Cheers!!
