ya you're right about white chanterelles being stockier and more chunky. chanterelles also have the "string cheese" look when you peel little bits off.

yup, amanita muscaria. really get you high, very high, but very sick. lots of folks make tinctures out of them.

ya those growing out of the tree look like honey mushrooms, they are pretty tasty. get a good id first though. the last is an earth star mushroom, they're super cool, I don't think edible though. Fin

ya it's a suillus of some type. maybe Slippery Jack, or a tamarack jack. the pores are too big to be a true bolete. many of the suillus species are edible, but are not incredible. Fin
