Ha ha brutal but he's right. Maybe they were talking about cutthroat? If not look at the creel reports. Not hopeless but you're gonna have to work for one.

    Stilli opener delayed

I remember hearing that years ago. The prosecutors didn't have time to deal with the cases.

So if some people don't follow the rules you close it because they will follow that rule? So no need to monitor it because nobody will fish if it's closed.

    Clouser stinger hook question

I started using a micro swivel. You can stack them in a Plano box without them tangling. I just pinch on a open eye siwash. If you ding the hook it's a lot easier to swap out.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NNAPNIS?ref=clp_hp_h_pc This is all I use. They used to have them at avid. Mine are silver but same model.

I'm with salmo. If you want CnR trout and are prepared to pay the ticket just go fishing.

I'm thinking paying to keep my boat on the dock would be money better spent. That way I set the sailing schedule. Also I didn't say what direction I took the ferry 😉.

Caught one today after school drop off. I'm not sure the $55 for the ferry is worth it though for about two hours of fishing time.

You don't need the 8 until you're going after chum. Even then they aren't as big as they used to be.

    FS 8FT Pram Plastic

My buddy had one. I think it's called a modulus waylander. I don't know the weight but they are pretty light.

    The Mountain Bike Thread

It's funny when you first start everyone just tells you how fun it is. After almost a year of being around it you find out how many times everyone has broken their collar bone. Walking around Whistler you see plenty of people in fresh casts. He loves it though and it's his one thing where he...

    The Mountain Bike Thread

We survived our first time. He had us in line at 9:45 and we rode until the lift stopped at 4:00. Dad left a little skin on one of the trails. He loved it so it was all good. All he's talking about now is going back to do A line.

Taking my son on a last minute trip to Whistler on Monday. He's wanted to go since he got his bike last September. This is my first time going. Any tips or places to see on the way? I have a 20" full suspension rental reserved for him.

    Non-Fly Taking mom trolling Saturday

We used them with light keel chain swivel weights. Not all flatfish were the same. We had one that wiggled just right. It had half the paint worn off.

    Non-Fly Taking mom trolling Saturday

When I used gear I had the best luck with a fly behind a salmon spoon as a dodger.

I would probably haul my boat to Sekui right now depending on how "small"

    Poor Man's 8ft Hopper

My buddy had one of those. If I remember correctly the bench is a little far forward. He cantilevered the seat towards the stern and raised the oar locks. I think he used starboard or something similar. I would move the Scotty mount on the bench up to match the other one on the transom. If...

Who said fly fishing is expensive.....

I've only been out with a guide about 5 times and never to a lodge. This describes the feeling I get. The only thing I'm doing is casting. All I'm doing is putting the fly where they tell me. That's probably why I prefer fishing on my own even if it's less successful.

If someone was so inclined they could probably look up the number of anglers checked at Eddie Vine this year vs years past. That might be an indicator that there where more boats there than ever.
