    NBA Playoffs 2023

Biggest adjustment the dubs made was having 4 shooters on the floor instead of the 3 they had in game one when Green and Looney spent most of the game being passers. Time for James to retire.

    Battery for trolling motor

I have a 36lb, 100ah dakota LiFePO4 with a dedicated 10A charger that came with the battery. 1/2 the weight, twice the useable amp hours, 3 times the lifespan, 3-4x the cost. This article gives a good overview of what to expect and how to look after your new LiFePO4 battery. I will know in...

Stillwater indicator watchers: What's your approach?

If you are trying to find fish, use the 77hz as it gives you a wider cone angle hence more searching power. Keep watching your video tutorials. Mastering your sounder WILL help put more fish in your net.

    Float Tube Safety

I was fishing in a 12 ft tinnie off Vancouver Island when a submarine surfaced 1/4 mile or so away. That certainly caused some pucker action. The submerged tree is well and thoroughly water logged and would sink even further to the bottom if not embedded already. Are there any subs in your lake?

    Pram Size Opinion

fat cat, 8ft inflatble avon, 12 foot pram, 1040, 14 ft springbok tinnie, 16 ft clacka and I got rid of a scadden sunrise. So, 6 "boats" in the fleet. The springbok gets the most use by far. The clacka used to get the most use but steelheading here on vancouver island is dreadful these days...

    Cheap indicator.

Those are the same indicators I use. I tend to use the orange ones.

    Cheap indicator.

I could care less about the cost, it is the inconvenience of using worn out indicators that either won't pop with a fish on because you have jammed the peg in too far or a wasted cast when the damn thing pops during the cast. When the bite is on time wasted frigging around with indicators costs...

    Cheap indicator.

I got the hose that I use from a buddy. He got it from a shutdown and reno at the local pulp mill. He said it was air hose. After some goggling this looks like the stuff I use

    Cheap indicator.

I suppose I lose a little buoyancy but it is negligible. I know I have given a few of my modified indicators to fishing buddies and they don't switch back to the unmodified ones once they have tried mine. Being able to consistently peg the indicator at the desired resistence where it survives...

    Cheap indicator.

I got tired of indicators not working properly as they stretched out so this is what I did Drill out your foam indicator/bobber and epoxy in a plastic sleeve. Coat the whole indicator with a clear coat such as epoxy ( extends the life of the orange paint exterior ). The peg fits in the...
