I've got the put my .02 in this thread. In the days when I was younger and hungry I caught 'em and I ate 'em. Crappy were my favorite, but this is about trout and again I caught 'em and ate 'em all. Any trout caught in cold clean water are the best. Some of my favorites are German Brown in the...

Great report and picks, two thumbs up.

White fish rock, on a dry fly, or olive bugger, a scud, or any other fly. I caught a 20 plus inch whitey in the Oregon Deschutes river once and it gave quit a ride.

I just lost the top of my TFO 7'9"3wt 4 pc I broke my fly off in a tree and was walking back to my truck and found the top gone. I retraced my trail but didn't find the top piece. I'm thinking I'll find getting a new top will cost too much or not be able to get a new top. Went to the TFO site...

I used to camp and fish Lost lake, not far from Beaver lake. Loved to watch and listen to the Loons. Infact the bird life around those lakes is amazing.

I have three puppies left to sale. One female and two males. They have had their second shots and need to go to their new homes. Make me an offer

I was recently gifted a 6'2" Carpenter bamboo rod that had never been used. The model is a Midge in a 4wt. I tried a 4 wt WFF line and I didn't like the way it cast, so I tried a 3wt WFF and it cast much better. I am using a Lamson 0ne reel with the 3wt line on it. I took the rod out a few days...

I used to fish the Icicle above the fish hatchery on those hot summer days, caught many small wild RB's. As for fishing for salmon below the hatchery, there is very little public property to fish from.

So much of the local rivers and streams are closed. You will have to check the regs to see what is open to fish. I have fished pretty much ever stream that is open in the greater Wenatchee area/Chelan Co. Fun times with small trout.

Sweeet

I use a small bit of Bio-strike right where leader and line come together, also a bit of fly floatation rubbed on the line helps.

Here are a couple new pics

I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The puppies got their first shots and wellness check up today and all are in great shape and ready to go to new homes. One of the boys left to a really nice couple this afternoon. They told me it was the fifth golden they have had in their...

Many years ago I tied up a yellow sally x and now it is my go to fly for all rivers in the PNW

Skipper's had an all ya could eat shrimp and fish deal that I used to hammer a couple time a month, then I don't know just what happened, but I just quit going there. This was maybe 30 plus yrs ago and I just can't remember stuff as well as I used to. I kinda don't darken the doors of the chain...

A couple of new pics

40 to 80 degrees, light breeze, full sun to overcast and gray. One of the best dry fly fishing days it was raining on the CDA. Another hot dry fly day was on the Clark Fork in a light rain. As soon as the rain stopped, the bite stopped. Any day fly fishing is better than a day at work.

Some new pics Little guys have started eating real food.

Here they are at 3 weeks old. Getting to their feet.

Great fishing below the dam
