My SIL and the guys in his family have camped every year near Curlew for deer season and I started tagging along 4 years ago. I don't hunt (yet) but I love hanging out at camp, walking the woods with my SIL, and leaving a couple days early to tap into the endless stillwater possibilities...

refreshing. when i saw the title my heart sank a little. sounds like a win-win-win for once.

i don't think of the center as a demographic. i think of it as the stuff that we share, the common ground. there's still plenty enough of it to base a working society on and it no longer gets addressed or celebrated anywhere along the spectrum of our political system or the media structures...

why do we talk like the only tax money the govt mishandles is related to politicians and issues we have a problem with? no matter what a program is ostensibly for - the machine works the same way in all cases under all administrations. it gets a little bit done (poorly) with a little portion...

no matter what solution we come up with, or which polar axis is running the machine at the time - the govt will do it inefficiently and wastefully and make a god damned mess of it. that still will almost certainly be better for the human race than the "Mongoose Effect" - the seemingly logical...

this looks like a good chart for those who feel one person cannot make a difference - since it clearly indicates that on a per capita basis we are the biggest hitters.
