Field of Dreams

Amazing game. The Spurs will be a problem for a long time to come but way too many young player mistakes this series. Double digit leads in every game I think. The lead in the last few minutes in 3 of 4 games. Wemby with horrible turnover in game 2. Bad missed free throws tonight. Castle has...

I get it every few years during salmon season. It can be pretty painful at times but I tend to just fish through it and rest in winter when casting smaller stuff seems to give it enough rest to heal. If it’s really bad I use the forearm strap which if worn appropriately will help. I always say...

A steal for someone. Good luck on the sale keep up the good fight. A number of us are out on the canal chasing our little spotted friends from our boats. If you do ever feel up to it once boatless, we can get you out!

Thanks for the kind words about the Winston. Sadly, this is not the first time she’s been sent home to be fixed up :). I did have a trip back to New England coming up she’ll be missing out on. I realized I don’t own a lot of 4 weights living in western Washington. I have a little 4 weight butter...

The most fool proof method I ever found while living in areas with bears is not putting the cans out until the morning of, as late as possible. Nothing else worked consistently, and usually just led to me cleaning up a big mess in the morning. Suburban black bears with no hunting pressure can...

Hit a lake this morning with @Kfish looking for some wild, native cutts. Started off a little slow. Maybe they were still sleeping since we hit it at the crack but they soon woke up and we had a fantastic morning. Good enough that we decided to stop harassing them well before the clock hit PM...

Not a surprise going to a game 7 of the WCF. Odd how we got here though. Great game 1 and then essentially 5 blowouts. Let’s hope game 7 mimics game 1 and not 2-6!

Hit a different lake today. It was quiet which is about all you can ask for on a Holiday weekend. Fishing was a little slow but landed enough to keep it interesting. Mix of smallies and LMB. Mostly fly but also got a few on gear throwing a weedless frog into snaggy cover.

Last time targeting these this year? Maybe :). Took the day to make it a 4 day weekend and give myself the chance to hit a popular smallie lake before the weekend crowd. Same lake as last weekend. Not quite as productive but still put my hands on a dozen or so over the course of the morning...

Spurs struggled without Fox and Harper for the 4th Q tonight. Castle is great but just not a guy that can be the primary ball handler every possession in half court sets. Just not crafty enough against really good defenders like the Thunder have and to much young player….inhit away with this in...

With my Aussie mix constantly roaming our fenced back yard and the daily appearance of barred owls on my property, I was surprised to find this guy just lounging in my grass yesterday afternoon. Totally relaxed without a care in the world. I think he’s f’ing with my dog who is fast, but not fast...

Designed to mimic the hottest bait in bass fishing in 2026…the fuzzy dice! Sadly, I bet this will catch fish. I’ll refrain from posting this on myflyvice @Evan B 🤣
