    Hot Sauce

If this is the non refrigerated plastic bottle one, I agree that it’s awesome! I found it at grocery outlet in Salem. Habanero reminds me of Marie Sharps a bit. The verde Hab is great too.

    Hot Sauce

I also have my own section in the fridge. I probably have about 20 or so at any given time. My teenage daughter likes to shop. I’ve got her trained to look for hot sauces when she’s out, and about. TJ Maxx always has a few randos. Sierra trading post also. Maybe its own thread, but my...

    Hot Sauce

I’m a chili head for sure. Current fave is a Torchbearer sauce called Garlic Reaper. Really hot, and really flavorful. Other faves include Mazzettas twist and shout Habanero, Marie Sharps Beware Habanero. I like some of the Melinda’s sauces too. Cant go wrong with Huy Fong (rooster) chili...

A couple '26 goals: fish new spots and catch new species - Pyramid Lake

Wide open camping on the beaches….not everywhere is “open” though. Since it’s on the Reservation, everything is dictated by them. They have regs on their site. Pelican is a popular place to camp. Another thing is to be aware of is the sand. You can bury a rig pretty easy.

A couple '26 goals: fish new spots and catch new species - Pyramid Lake

There are certain spots you can fish from shore without getting in the water…..that’s my style out there. Especially in the winter.

A couple '26 goals: fish new spots and catch new species - Pyramid Lake

saw a dude with stalled out motor get blown across and have to be rescued. The wind is no joke out there. Personally, I always liked that the boat guys can’t crowd the shore guys. The boat guys can go find bait balls and fish those. That’s often what they do. Shore guys obviously can’t do...

Heading to the Crooked this weekend

I lived in the Reno/Tahoe area for 11ish years. Recreating down there could be interesting…Bay Area, and LA as you go south….pretty crazy at times ….getting trail head passes, etc. I did the same thing as you though. Lots of cool stuff that didn’t get all the press. My uncle got out of Bend...

Heading to the Crooked this weekend

I’m taking my son, who is mostly a spin fisherman. I’m hoping to get him some action on the wimp noodle. I’ll report here after we get back. Question about camping….do they have cashless card machines at the blm campgrounds on the Crooked? They’ve got them most places on the lower D now, but...

@CanoeGuy Awesome report! Pyramid is a crazy place…lots of ups,and downs. I think you encapsulated how you can feel like you’ve got it dialed, and then………sometimes you can be next to someone, using the exact same thing, and they are hooking up consistently while ur skunked….ive been on both...
