    C-C-Cold feet: Heated socks recommendations?

I bought a cheap pair of rechargeable socks on Amazon a couple years ago. They work just fine. Low setting is perfect, and will last several hours. I also have rechargeable hand warmers i got on Amazon. I stick them under wrist bands.. Getting cold on the water sucks

    Pyram!d Lake Tips?

the wind is legit out there! One thing to remember is the way the lake sits, you are fishing the western shore…the prevailing wind out there is blowing to the east…..another reason why boating can be interesting. I’ve seen people get blown all the way across with a dead motor. That said, be...

    Pyram!d Lake Tips?

It’s not that the beaches are ladder only….its just that on the shallower beaches that have a gradual slope you need to wade out to get to the dropoff. The ladder just allows you to get up higher, and, out of the water. I think some guys used to stand on milk cartons. It’s a massive lake...

    Pucker up

All I know is Oregon, Washington, and Cali are experts in taking money from us working stiffs…..when I lived in NV with no income tax, my money went further. I much prefer sales tax to income….you want to buy a lot of shit, thanks for the tax contribution!

    Show me your bass

My goal for this spring is to dial in euro/mono drop shot for smallies on the Willamette. I’ve had some success with limited time. I think it could be reasonably close to recreating drop shot with good spinning setup, which kills it.

    Show me your bass

@Northern I love the experimentation! I’ve been wanting to come up with some weedless patterns as well. Yours are looking good!

Scientists gather at Lake Tahoe to protect the world’s largest trout

Tahoe to Pyramid, via the Truckee River, is closed system (pyramid has no outlet) that historically was the home for LCT. The plan all along has been to re-introduce the LCT throughout the system.

    SFR Superstitions?

“I’m not superstitious, but I’m a little stitious” -Michael Scott Honestly, I have zero superstitions around fishing. I do, however have some things with sports. Mainly baseball. Rally caps work. Also, you don’t talk about it when a dude has a no-no going.

    The Trout Spey

Been to Montana once, years ago. My take away was the all the guide boats had bankers hours and it was mostly plunking bobbers since they were traveling speed of river. I prowled around the banks and had lots of great water to myself, especially in the evening. The North Platte was like that...

    Broke my rod today

Hmmm, I broke the tip section of my 2 piece 9’9” 5wt GL3 a couple years. It was my workhorse rod years. I liked it so much I bought a backup on eBay several years….so I do still have one. But I never investigated if I could get a replacement tip section🤔

    The Trout Spey

I have a switch that I would like to trade for a micro Spey. The switch is just a bit too big. Other than that, I only really swing with a single handed 6 wt and a sink tip. I do occasionally Spey cast with single hand rods, which works fine other then you don’t have the double hand grip
