I’d love to have a wireless kill switch solution. Following this thread!

I’m certainly do not have all the answers, but my buddy is a master at making gelcoat shine. He loves this product, and says he can now only find it online...

This turned out really nice. Great idea on the pipe sections. Can you share a picture of your boat? I’m curious as to what you have!

The 40hp Honda has 170 hours logged in. I do like the 40, but that little 8hp OB… while older, it runs like a Swiss watch. Sounds so good! Both are in very nice condition. I didn’t know, but the manufacturer rarely offer power trim on these tiller controlled, mid-size outboards. The Honda...

I paid 10K, and I suspect that sounds a bit outrageous, but these Moochers are difficult to find in good condition. The seller sold it to me for less than he paid 4 years ago. Anyway, keep an eye out if you like them and feel free to send me a note if I can share what I’ve learned the last...

It was offered with, or without a windshield and set up for tiller steering. The windshield catches the wind & can move the boat too fast across the water for jigging and mooching. (I hope it works great for fly casters) They are stable and offer a relatively dry ride.

My new ride is nearly vintage…. 1991 Markell Tiller operated Moocher. I can’t wait to get in on the bay here in Port Townsend And chase salmon and searun cutthroat.

A belated congratulations on your retirement Brian!

Lake Crescent has camping on the lake, with great accommodations, camp, cabin and restaurants It’s also part of the National Park! Fishing opens in June, for Crescenti Cutthroat and Beardsley Rainbows!

Have you shared a photo of your boat? 😀

Not that I’m aware of. I think they started in Western WA.

Merry Christmas Dave Boyle! I received a couple good bottles of bourbon, tickets to an upcoming play, and wood from Edensaw 😂 Look forward to seeing you on the water in 2025

As PNW Fly Fisherman, Gil Nyerges use to say; “It’s now the mistake, but how you recover that’s important” The cutthroat is so cool, and only rivaled by the materials and craftsmanship. The pebbles add a lot of eye pleasing detail to the epoxy handle. Nice work @Jameson Hawn !

@Jameson Hawn is doing a great job updating his Port Ludlow Pram build in the General Forum. He and I are each building boats together, and he’s helping me with his woodworking skills and tools. I’m a few steps behind Jameson’s build, and my boat will be 1.5” less freeboard and 6” more beam in...

This is the season we make Swedish meatballs, and they are best after being refrigerated and eaten the next day. Made 150 last night!

6 Years!

Thanks Brian. Photo to answer the question that will pop into many’s mind… “what’s a Flasy Lady” 😂

I moved this past summer and found this trio of books I found about 8 years ago at the thrift store. I think it came from professional fly there, Arlington, WA resident, Joe Butorac. I shared this on the other PNW website years ago, but it’s cool enough to share again. Les Johnson signed...

Being apart of this pram build is like early Christmas for me. @Jameson Hawn is fearless in the wood shop and generous with inviting a nobody like me along for this build. I’m using his tools, his shop & his brain. Haha All I have to offer is ideas… some good & some no so much! 😆 His boat...
