Amazing! We need to fix this... https://www.ecoportal.net/en/some-80-percent-juvenile-coho-salmon/32636/

Super El Nino I guess....lagoons are protected

Folstaff trick is the metal is super strong... Just bang near (but not on) the connection point on a rock and the tap breaks the seal and it comes off with ease. Still stuck bang a little harder. Herkileez staff is excellent and comes custom sizes and does not tick like folstaff. It is...

Nope...I just want to fish there but have not made the commitment.

Love to see innovation. As inventor of the Alaskan shank can you explain what the tying variations are relative to the standard waddington shank. Does the Alaskan have a straight hook eye or is it bent? I'm already scratching my head as to how a hook is attached to an Alaskan or is the...

The villages have solo angler?

That's a lot of debris to navigate to avoid collisions especially with launched vehicles. Others want to put their stuff in low earth orbit to compete with starlink or other countries not wanting to get shut out. What will the space junk field look like in 10 years?

Those pilots are about 100ft. off the tree tops too making the drop. That's why those idiots flying looky loo drones should be in jail for a very long time. Drone idiots interfere with current PNW fire response

LOL! A racing buddy and I buy new parts for our racecars and we ask each other...."How many pairs of shoes is that going to cost you?"

Is october a particularly good time for some reason like lower humidity?

In the US 85% of wild fires are started by dumb humans while only 50% of Canadians are as dumb.

Sure and some people win like those who already have a house in those locations get to watch their values increase...while some people loose in being priced out of the market. But this isn't a zero-sum game. PE is just business like proctor and gamble making soap. The largest PE's are...

That's Shiff's side of the story. Governments always want to meddle and control. It makes perfect sense unless you are a fire victim and need options. No one is forced to sell but the pain of trying to rebuild cannot be underestimated. Our government on the news promises to expedite...

Wow! Does unshot 20y/o film still have archival life as if new?

I think about this trip but have a hard time committing.

That's a big thing. Before I hire a guide I ask questions like "how do you propose to fish this water!" I tell them how I like to fish and see if we could collaborate. There are times it wasn't going to work out and that honesty is good for both of us.

I get both your points! Both realities exist. I see guys floating down a river drowning nymphs but the guide is running them over the exact holes yelling "SET" , and is really the puppet master. Then there are times when the guide gives a great education. I fish guides all the time and I'm...

Agreed! ...and so often fishermen are varying degrees of "guide puppet."

Yeah....something weird with massive inflation of fly away trip costs. Even locally it is cheaper for me to buy a boat than hire the guides with boats. But then....I have to be a boat owner. First world problem for sure....

I shot very little K64 because you could not process at home. But we could use cibachrome and process direct positive to positive on paper and make awesome k64 paper prints.
