Sure smelled that smoke this evening on our walk.

Fished yesterday on @jasmillo boat with @mtskibum16 trolling flies with divers, we caught several solid fish all unclipped except for one. Short local session this morning with @FerrousTortoise it was slow, landed a small pink (gave away to a guy next to me).

It would! I fished something very similar to this (blue/white) a few weeks ago and caught tuna on it :)

It’s for coho, smaller size 2 hook.

Back at it, round 2 with fat bastard Herschel. Remember to do some stretches and warm ups :)

Second one really got the humpy on.

Right hand reel? 🤣

Short session on the local side beach this morning, it was very slow.

Haha I like that lean back with the heavy net 🤣

That does look good! You even have the proper basil and cilantro too!

Many. Sage Launch 6wt, my first real fly rod. Rolled up the rental car window with tip sticking out. Sage Method 8wt - if blew up casting. Scott Radian 5wt - broke the tip pushing at a stuck fly in the branch. Second time I had it laying in my minivan and the boy jumped in before I had the...

Grilled coho from yesterday in Vietnamese spring rolls with chili peanut dipping sauce.

Such details! Do you keep a log for this? :)

Fished with @mtskibum16 and @jasmillo today for coho and pinks. Saw a lot of bait, tons of pinks that were milling around like staging chums. They were lock jawed with only a few willing biter, should have had a 50 plus fish morning with all those fish around. Also jigged for coho, landed a...

Absolutely no holes, else the buzz bomb will fall through.

If the rod has a built in fore grip then no it’s designed for it. My TFO Bluewater 12wt has it and it’s a much beefier rod than the Scott Wave 12wt.

I think that should work, with an extended butt the reel will be farther out from your chest. There is a lot of reeling in as you know so keep that ergonomic/comfort in mind.

Two humpy double with @jasmillo over the weekend.

@Nick Clayton You mean don’t do this? 🤣 I won’t name out the angler in question here, let’s just call him “slow-millo” to guard his identity 🤣 Disclaimer, I do plenty of that too, pretty sure that’s how I broke my Meridian on a past trip.
