What @Stonedfish says about seat height (in relation to your oars/oarlocks) - my pram is 8' long, the seat is a padded Fish on seat mounted on a swivel. I can't tell from your pictures where the oarlocks are in relation to where you'd fasten a seat. I use Scotty mounts for my anchors...

It's coincidence that today I went through my "Blob/Booby" box and tossed 35 - 40 of them away and started tying with FNF UV Jelly (in far fewer numbers). Hadn't considered trying a jig blob...........

Thanks Stacy! I know that carp suck in and spit out bottom materials (including our flies!) I don't think so, Jim. We've had lots of wind and the nights are cooling so I think the water temp is falling and with all the wind/waves I'd assume the O2 levels aren't decreasing. What do I know? ;-)

Lots of evidence that caprs have been here rooting around for whatever they might find. One of these darker spots was almost four inches deep, makes me wonder what the capr was digging that deep for? Every time I think I know something about fishing for caprs (or trout - for that matter)...

I can't remember the last time I sat and tied a few steelhead flies. I used to LOVE doing so. I had hopes of meeting one of the forum members on a stretch of "local" this fall, probably won't happen. Speaking of carp flies:

I landed that bonefish but retired the fly line that evening (I had a spare line in a box and a second rod/reel/line back at cabin #7). @Rob Allen - if you're able to land a "Sweetlips", use a hemostat to remove the hook. ;-)
