CA Seals and Sealions eating all of WA Springers?

So they are hazardous waste? Maybe we can get superfund money to remove them.

    Little Update

Good for you, to catch this and deal with it. My mom had type 2, and lived to a ripe old age of 92. She took it serious and took really good care of herself. I hope you will also, much more life to enjoy ahead.

CA Seals and Sealions eating all of WA Springers?

The sea lions in the Columbia are all males. We could cull to our hearts content without affecting the species future. It is a choice between species, and as was stated earlier, fish just aren't as cute as a brown eyed mammal.

I believe Cattle are an invasive species in North America.

Recent additions/improvements you've made to your bench

Way better use than a clock IMO. Thanks for the unobstructed photos.

    Float Tube Safety

Anything like that needs to be practiced, in warm water where you can safely play with it. I guarantee it will be clumsier than it looks. The center of mass is going to shift forward which may tip the boat forward making it tricky to slide into the seat. I did a Canoe/kayak rescue class that...

    Float Tube Safety

That's really a good idea. Keep something like that rolled up out of the way just in case.

    Float Tube Safety

The real danger, in my opinion, is the amphibious tanker seeking firefighting fluid. Of course they don't use lakes that are known to have logs rocket out of the water, so....

    An incredible opportunity and fishing

If a person wants to keep his land to himself I get that. But why should he be allowed to sell access to a public resource (the wildlife). The advertising clearly makes that out to be the attraction.

NFR Should I disconnect a car battery if it’s not going to be used?

I'd just put the trickle charger on. If you disconnect the battery, you are going to have to reset the clock, perhaps lose all the radio presets as well. Disconnecting at the negative terminal prevents accidentally arcing from the (positive) battery post to ANYTHING metal around it, and is...

    Plinking Near Seattle

My friends brother was shootin' tannerite in a gravel pit near here. It blew a rock 80 yards towards them and shattered his ankle. Took all the fun out of that. They show putting the tannerite on top of a cardboard box for safety, for your info. I think they should ban the shit, or quit...

    Plinking Near Seattle

For a reactionary target, I like charcoal briquets. They make a nice puff, and are biodegradable. I live next to DNR land, and we have had trouble with shooters bringing their old computers (I want to shoot mine too sometimes), TVs, toilets, cans, bottles, really you name it and blasting them...

Messing around with new camera, checking out that Chinese Spy Balloon, couldn't believe what I saw!

Walking on water is for amateurs. Walking at 40,000ft is impressive.

    Beef Chili

Chuck is good. No hamburger.... ever. You want the fat to render into the meat and tenderize it not render into your chili making a greasy mess. Any meat you think would make a good pot roast or stew is good. Chili spices are pretty straightforward, I would just go to cash and carry (chefs...

    Cell Coverage Question

When I am out fishing, and I look at my phone and see no bars, I mostly just get a warm, happy feeling.
