    No bear encounters, at least not while fishing. I did have an encounter with a bull moose in AK while fishing a creek for kings, he stepped into the river about a cast away from me. They are LARGE animals, I high booted it up the bank in a hurry!

    Hypothetical question here....opinions?

    The first thing that came to mind was a week on the Babine, because I love big steelhead and it's difficult to access much of that river without a sled. My second thought was Argentina. My wife would go to the warmer places so those are a possibility, but Northern BC or Argentina probably not.

    I just finished a book titled 'Soul of The Lion' about Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain, he was part of many battles, especially Gettysburg, during the Civil War, Excellent book. I just picked up a book called ' The Stoic Challenge' by William Irvine. So far it's interesting.

    Who knows, maybe it will be better. They may escape the predation from the birds as the mass of releases are a few months off and they can sneak out ahead of them. Only time will tell.
