    Pass lake algae

Found proof they drive online. Being they are such little a-holes, I figured they would be driving an Audi…. I bet they don’t use their turn signals, and ride your butt on I-5.

    Pass lake algae

Yikes, I didn’t realize otters could move that easily from lake to lake. That appears to be a 2.5 hour drive. Can otters even drive?

    Fishfinder mount

There’s enough room in front of the side bags for the strap wrap, barely, at least on the super fat cat. Put it on before fully inflated, then finish inflating. That’s what I do regularly.

    What's in your vise?

I’ve tried a couple of those red ones with no love given. But can’t say I fished them for long or very confidently. And confidence is always the key.

    What's Catching You Fish?

Caught me a steelhead yesterday. No pics of fish as I was by myself.

    NFR Soft truck toppers

Steve, I am in the market for a new tonneau cover myself, but there are times when a bigger enclosure would be nice. I just did a Google search and found a company called Fas-top. It has a cover that can be a tonneau cover and then will transform into a soft top in a couple minutes...

One-man Pontoon Recommendations for Olympic Peninsula Dec-March

I've fished with Jim multiple times. Definitely a good dude and knows the rivers well.

    Most important river wading gear...

I have Korkers and this is my third pair, several years old and may need to get another pair soon. I love having one pair of boots that will work for whatever I'm doing, only need to change the soles out. For slippery boulder rivers I really like the aluminum bar soles. I feel like they give...

    WTH?

Except my buddy saw a coyote swim across the river last time he was out on the reach. And this is what I saw last time I was fishing. At least he left my bag with my lunch alone.

What's your favorite mono running line & why?

I have the OPST Lazer Line and I like it, no tangles but can be hard to hold. I can pull in 10 strips and dump it all in the water without issues it seems, though I usually will hold just one loop. I find that it shoots so well the sometimes the head will just fly out and not unroll since...

    All the Rage...

Maybe it would have worked backwards if you tried casting left handed? Not quite sure how that works.

SFR Cataract Surgery……Basic or the Full Monty..your thoughts and experience

Having two eyes focused on the same object is what helps give you depth perception and 3D vision. I would worry that having the monovision issue (one eye focused on far and one eye focused on near) would drive me crazy.

    All the Rage...

And I was thinking the same thing about how light that line is. I love my Rage 480, using it on a Meiser 567 weight, 14 foot. Mine casts the polyleaders well and I even used 6 foot of T14 the other day with it, though that gets clunky.

    What's in your vise?

Maybe you could pull a few marabou fibers off and add it to the top, then the bottom, then each side. Less waste, less messy, easier to adjust the length, though a little more work. You could also spin up fibers in a dubbing loop, or even a composite loop, but I find that to be a bit tedious.

    What's in your vise?

I used a sink tip with it. I really haven't fished muddlers much before. I have much better luck getting my flies lower in the water column where I usually fish. But I'm sure the barely sunk method would work as well. I should have took a pic of the fly in the water yesterday, The wing...

    What's in your vise?

Top one hooked me up yesterday, lost the fish in the weeds. I had tied that fly on, was going to change it out after a few casts, but I saw it in the water and loved the profile. So I tied me up some other options.

    Hook size inconsistency

Pirating has nothing to do with patents, and brands/manufacturers whatever, you got my point. Whoever is selling the hooks.

    Hook size inconsistency

I've been tying flies for 30 years and have managed to muddle my way through things, and I don't really expect things to change. I really don't have my panties in a bunch about it, I really don't care. But it would be nice if a company would actually look out for their customers every once in...

    Hook size inconsistency

Again, why should it be up to the fly shop owner to give me the sizing? I’m sure the manufacturers have this info. Stop calling things size 1 or 2 if it’s meaningless, call it something meaningful.
