You can actually. An update to the plans offered several months ago added the ability to pause with no fee. Love my inReach Mini 2 for the peace of mind it gives my wife when I'm away.

Years of deck handing on salmon trollers has the improved clinch knot burned into muscle memory. It's threading the fly that is the challenge. With limited depth perception it can sometimes be comical, when the end of the tippet is two inches away from the fly and I can't tell.

Fishing larger flies. Couple of years ago I lost all sight in my right eye. If you think tying on a size 18 is hard now, try it with one eye closed!

Alternative thought here. We love finding new restaurants when travelling but some of our most memorable meals have been on the balcony in our room.

Has anyone used the ATK suggested Victorinox Swiss Army chef's knife and if so are you able to get a sharp edge on it? It was great when new but I just can't get it sharp with my Chef's Choice. It's probably time to spend the $$$ on a real one.
