I’d get creative for a sub… UV Dub - black and some hollow deer hair - black; in a dubbing loop; clipped and scrunched. Or the same dubbing process, but use a stretchy, crinkly rubber material and clip.

Plus they have drained most of the reservoirs around here. Recreation and associated business could take a beating.
