His first trip out in the boat went great! Lots of hanging on the bank but he was well behaved in the boat. Took long enough to get out there with him but the weather and rivers here have been crap. Looking forward to more of this.

A little late but, came close to landing 2 over 3 days with a few more jumped. Not crazy numbers but for a landlocked boy as myself, I’m jacked up about it. Got a few bonefish too which was real cool

I hear ya but there’s a reason why there are professionals in each industry… but it’s like painting your own house, you shouldn’t because you’ll always notice the imperfections but in reality it’s plenty good enough. Looks like good work from here !!

Based on how this brookie creek was for a short session I was getting concerned that the dry I sent in for the swap doesn’t work anymore… it did eventually and got some nice ones, they were just cold and being cranky.

Been a fan of Jim Harrison albeit pretty tangentially. Looking to start out reading some of his work, prefer novel/stories to poems for now but any recommendations are welcome. Thanks!
