    Good day at the local ditch A couple black necked stilts above, we saw quite a few on our walk. Ruddy ducks, pie billed grebes with tiny ones in tow, ridiculous numbers of great blue herons, an egret, plenty of harriers, a couple lazuli buntings, purple martins, bald eagles…the 4 bitterns...

    I took both shop and home ec, and yes it was cooking. Those classes were mostly full of girls and we got to eat what we made.

    I have to add commercial fisherman use the information from these buoys to figure if it worth going out/or where to go for the day. More important than ever considering the cost of fuel.
