Done that exact thing for years , spin the fly line back on the reel , unless there is too much then it's stripping , but most times I spin back on the reel to handle the fish . So far I have been lucky I guess never have had a backlash on a fly line . Many times that line thats been spun back...

Very fixable , got a pair of the same pontoons a few years ago , one seam split from over pressure . Took to a boat cover place ,they sewed it up ,couldn't tell looked brand new .

I saw that ,pretty common for the park . In all the years I have fished the lower Madison , I only remember one year they put it on hoot owl , probably have been more .

Unfortunately there are unsuspecting people that will buy them . I may have thought those life jackets were a good deal if I hadn't seen the exact ones at Walmart . I was needing to add a couple to my boat, although I didn't buy them from Walmart .

Just saw on Facebook a couple life jackets for sale for $40 ea. That particular life jacket is sold by Walmart for $14.97 ea.

Is not a small trailer an option ? Would solve getting on top of a car , can be backed to the water, and launched , etc etc .
