I Just tied this one this morning. I used orange Guinea for the hackle over the Body.

Purple Spey The body is a mix of Purple and bright Red It is hard to see. The wing is two pairs of Purple,with one pair of Red in between. Purple/Red Spey

This is where I caught my first steelhead on the Rogue River When I was 12 years old. Across the River,near that dry spot.I wasn't fly fishing then,that came later in life.We Caught Alot of Steelhead Later on in this area.alot.

I do alot of free style tying.I enjoy It when I have an Idea and put it together when creating a fly. Seldom do I get what I start out with,but that's ok.

Mahoney variation This fly calls for Red guinea as a collor,but I only hade oregon.

I have not posted a fly here yet,so this will be my first. This is a cased caddis I tie.

At the Albany expo.i bought a Norvice tool holder for my vice. And a holder for spools of material.both are nicely made,and definitely help keep things better Organized.

I am new to this forum,I to was at the Albany fly tyers Expo.it was amazing to see such artistic talent Converge in one place. On Friday and Saturday I tied for 2 sessions.i still was able to get around and watch many of the tyers there.Very impressive. Hats off to all who took their time away...
