Pay more, get less - that's the issue. If it were pay more, get the same - that's understandable. But when you pay more for something and get less, that's not inflation. That's getting screwed, camouflaged as "inflation".

Really really good thing - unless you're a really rich person who bought property that corner blocks public access and you've been using that public property as your own and restricting public access via corner crossing....but I think those are the rare exceptions. So yeah, good thing.
