Thread drift: "Garden-worm, which should be well scoured" Apparently the robin I saw pulling a nightcrawler out of the garden soil yesterday consumed a "garden worm not well scoured" if the dive bombed evidence left on the hood of my truck is any indication.

You certainly won't catch fish if you don't go there and fish the lake. For what LITTLE it's worth, that lake has a reputation for being stingy (which has been one factor in why I've continued my journeys further north).......

These cattle trails are deceptive; you think you're on the trail to the lake only to find a branch in the trail, then another and another..... It's better to use landmarks than cattle trails to find your way.
