Mosquitos don’t live in open water. They only exist in shallow waters where wind does not impact their ability to breath. When I say shallow, I mean a foot or less separated from a larger water body or puddle.

For long materials like peacock tails, pheasant tails, etc. go to your local sport card shop. Look or ask for a baseball bat tube, they are about 30 inches long and 3 inches in diameter and are a great way to protect those materials. Not to mention you can store them stacked in a corner.

What you have with the Price vise is a base clamp that can hold on 1/8 thick material or the ubiquitous forest service table that is 6 inches thick.
