Wdfw targeting bass for cull in the Chehalis

I've never caught one that low either. They are above Elma though for sure

Wdfw targeting bass for cull in the Chehalis

Me too in that section. They are from Elma up into the Centralia and Chehalis zone though for certain. I've encountered them there. The sloughs around porter look especially inviting if you are into fishing for such things

Wdfw targeting bass for cull in the Chehalis

Interesting article. Anybody fish in this area for bass. I've caught them incidentally in the lower river seeking coho. A buddy of mine catches quite a few. He does use a bass style spinner bait for coho. The Willapa also has large specimens. I'm hot spotting yes. I figure this is an invasive...

    Dismantling of the USFS

Is there budget to approve an easement for public access that's been on a desk for 2 years? It simply needs to be signed. Right now the public does not have effective access to an area on USFS lands because a document is simply not dealt with. The evil timber company decommissioned a road for...

    Dismantling of the USFS

It's not like a century long policy of aggressive fire suppression then a complete abandonment of management activities to mitigate massive fuel loading would result in increased fires right?

    Dismantling of the USFS

The more I read the more I realise I'm in a less visited area of forest service country. We don't have toilets at all. And our campgrounds have been shut down a long time ago. They were run by a private contractor for a short time then shuttered. Maybe the proximity to the park has something to...

    A juxtaposition

People blasting music or blasting around in side by sides should be banned from public lands. They are an infestation of the kind we need not. Hard to know what came first the drunk or dumb.

    Dismantling of the USFS

I'm not for privatising USFS lands. Nor am I got amalgamating into the park lands. What I want is an active and functioning boots on the ground forest service. I haven't seen that in decades. Why is it when budgets grow or get stressed the beaura racy gets funded and grows while the actual tip...

    Dismantling of the USFS

I agree Billy. I and lots of folks volunteer for cleaning up the USFS ground in my area. I just honestly don't see what functions a once amazing agency are still performing up here.

    Dismantling of the USFS

So it would remain the same in my area. Zero management or maintenance.

    Dismantling of the USFS

. A good start would be to extract the burned out cars and garbage that have been up the skok for decades. The place looks like Shelton's oversize garbage dump. Great looking hot tub on the mainline above browns creek if anybody is looking. Faux grey marble. Nice unit. We got lots of second...

    Dismantling of the USFS

The hatch article reads like enviro fear porn drizzled with a sauce of political overtones. Laughable really. Agitate and excite your base with emotional bullshit for effect and then you don't need facts to garner the response you want. Classic Fox/NPR tactics.

    Dismantling of the USFS

Forest service used to get it done. Now it's hard to discern exactly what they do. I see near zero active management/maintainace in my area. Just a local perspective. And no I don't want USFS lands closed, wholesale clear-cut, or sold off to private.

    Bellwether Social Media trial

I don't think we are communicating effectively. Arm chair quarterbacks are well entitled to an opinion when regulation to protect kids who's parents aren't doing their job of that impact their lives. I loath regulation or litigation to protect kids who's parents aren't doing the job. I feel the...

    Bellwether Social Media trial

Your kids are your responsibility. Not the government, not society, not anybody else but you and your wife or partner. 8 see a whole lot of Americans taking a low effort parenting style route then acting like society owes them childcare and educating their children on everything. Those kids...

    Bellwether Social Media trial

I'm no fan of social media and think it's in many ways a vector for the degradation of society but people have got to have accountability for their own shit. That lack of accountability has lead to a litigious American society that has given rise of insurance empires and requirements, lawfare...

    Pucker up

This post is so long I can tell a government employee wrote it with a focus group. I could introduce you to plenty of essentially useless government agencies around me with plenty of cull for a workforce. I worked for a municipality for awhile and can say firsthand there was plenty of waste of...
