I have an 1880's, greenheart fly rod made in Edinburgh, Scotland (with silk line and hair leaders) .. that I regularly fish about once a year.

As I understand it... all the front and rear motor mounts are universal, and will only fit BB boats made after 2011. It's a 2-3 month wait for one to be made.. so I built my own. Works good, lasts long time.

I may be the last one on this list to figure it out… but for those of you still fighting to get your fly rod in and out of a Scotty rod holder, (some reels harder than others) ..just grind down about 1/4” on either side of the opening. Works good, lasts long time!
