Asparagus blue bands (or other veggie bands) is what I use for spools that don’t come with tippet bands. Actually prefer the veggie bands because they provide more tension when pulling tippet out and less prone to snag and leak tippet out. I never thought of putting an eyelet in one tho? 🤔

Might be but they have better have a good replacement in mind. (There was the one coach who said you have a 8-10 year period and then it goes stale as you say). Think there is some truth to that.

I love the signage about rattlesnakes right at the rest stop off Hwy 90 @ Sprague. It’s a known fact that the snakes like to rest on the hot evening concrete sidewalks or hang out in the adjacent grass field as you make your way to the restrooms. 😉

I have the Sage DS 583-4. Fun little rod. Back when I hiked more often it was a good rod to pack and had enough heft in case I ever got into bigger fish. Plus I usually fished leeches/small streamers when I did that explorative type fishing.

He played better than I thought he would. He’s always been a 3/4 arm slinger. Colts played a smart game. He completed 15 of his last 18 pass attempts. I’m glad hawks played him when they did. A couple more weeks and 5 lbs less he might just do better. I would have to say he’s not the worst...
