    I called the Sandy hatchery yesterday , they said about 400 coho have returned , a far cry from this time last year. Wish they would post it on line somewhere .

    Stone dead at Oxbow yesterday , I know we need rain but I thought some would be in there. I have managed 4 so far , all were bright hens. I wonder how many are still down at the mouth waiting for rain. There are some areas below Oxbow that have 5 inches of water.

    Got a fatty coho keeper at Oxbow yesterday. Third cast , Blue Fox #4 , orange body , silver blade , hen. There are some rollers in there , not many yet . Rain !!!! Please !!!!

    I do not know what is going on there. it has been dead for springers. only 7 have returned to the hatchery . Late or a disaster ? Did get one summer . I have fished Oxbow for 35 yrs. Never seen it this slow.
