    Got any bird pics?

Thanks, SS. They are pretty birds. They frequent our suet feeder and are tearing to pieces an older, tall fir stump.

    NFR What Are You Drinking?

So, I just happen to know the people and place where WestLand started - before it was named Westland. It all started in a garage space in Mason County. I currently have: Flagship, beer cask finish - cask #1, wine cask finish - cask #1,Solum .... and Garryana. Matt, I would share a dram or two...

    Is this where it’s headed

I hate music on a lake. There are so many truly rude, self indulgent people. At one lake, they set up chairs at the launch and made sure the whole area could hear their play list. I left. A lake shore or a boat has no place on fishing water. We have a long time family property on Mason Lake...

    Got any bird pics?

Silverfly: I think it is a fine picture. Creepers and nuthatches both travel up and down the trees. The creepers go up and nuthatches go down. Kid of interesting, I think.

    Lake craft recommendation

But, I am not in a hurry. I may be a slug but I like a slower pace. Crawl on.... I have a motor and the large battery to go with it. Just doesn’t suit my need on the lakes I fish. Just me, Krusty. No disrespect intended.

    Lake craft recommendation

My outcast has been perfect for what I do. I made a motor mount and mounted a 12 volt, big battery case behind the seat, but very seldom use it. If you are dragging the boat, I would suggest an extra strip of glue on material to protect the main bladder.

    Pearrygin Lake Winthrop

In my opinion, cool enough is the key. It is pretty much a put and take Lake. Take your gear and make the decision when you get there. It will be after school starts. There are other lakes in the area, higher up, which may be cooler. My cut off fishing temp is 65 surface. Nice area, a lot of...

    Got any bird pics?

The most unusual bird I have had visit is a rose-breasted grosbeak. I have a picture! We have the black-headed show up every year from Central America. They were about a month late this year.

    Got any bird pics?

My Stellars jays look for me in my usual chair and wait for peanuts to be tossed. I went through 40 lbs. sounds flower seeds in a month. That doesn’t count suet cakes and regular seed I throw on the ground. Getting to be expensive. By comparison, hummers are so easy.
