This is a terrible picture I pulled from an old video. I caught this fishing for steelhead on the grande ronde. I’ve fished this river every year for close to 20 years. This is the first and only bull trout I’ve ever caught there. It was definitely my purdiest.

I started because I wanted to learn how and it seemed like a more challenging way to fish. I do enjoy it, it’s a fun different way to fish.
