No argument there, but I am curious if that means that the meat is completely inedible or toxic. Similar warnings are given for sharks, pelagic fish, whales (think farrow island pilot whale). People still eat those species with regularity.

I’m curious how WDFW is approaching the harvest model. Compared to say, bear or cougar hunting. Granted, I understand there is currently no direct analog to sea lion harvest.

Beautiful calls! My pot call is from JT Calls and it’s slate over glass. Since I bow hunt for them pretty much exclusively these days, I have put a bunch more time into diaphragm calls. I really like JTs stuff, but recently bought a pack of Phelps calls and they are badass.
