Interesting... I fished Lake Creek in a few spots last summer and thought I had a brookie on a dry, but maybe it was a small brown. I thought I read all the fish passage barriers had been removed on the main stem, so hopefully there isn't more downstream migration, if that is the case.

what are the clams like this time of year? I only find myself digging in the fall. do they get weird with the seasons changing like some other shellfish?

Hi, so i'm looking at the 2023 NW zone regs and for the Siletz River it says the river and all tribs upstream of Siletz Falls are closed. But, i cant seem to find Siletz Falls on a map. I see a Valsetz Falls quite a ways upstream. Would this just be another name for it? thanks!

Braved the frigid air, blustery winds, and wader bootie with a dime sized hole in it to catch some coastal cutts on a tiny stream... Even caught an 11" rainbow where there's never been rainbows before, at least not until they removed the last small dam downstream last summer. I was wondering...

I was fishing the lower Deschutes this weekend, caught a pretty nice rainbow on the nymph rig. Upon further inspection, I noticed a bit of a red marking underneath its jaw. Are there cuttbows in the Deschutes river (Oregon deschutes)? I’m sure it’s not impossible, but you just never hear about...
