    I left on the 11th of Feb, just got home the 20th. Scheduled departure was the 10th but we delayed to try and stay behind one storm and ahead of the big one. The big one definitely was coming through while I was there.

    Tenting Wings/Golden Pheasant Help

    I find wetting the feathers to minimize their size/spread helps me to get them to sit together better. I tie both sides in at once - some feathers seem to be impossible to set right despite all efforts.

    The eyes (with glasses), are way better than the cell phone. The trail led us To within 20 yards of the tree she(?) was perched in. She stayed put as we walked by. Didn’t look back at her too much as I could see she was getting a little nervous as we approached.

    What fish is this?

    Mid Oregon coast has both Jack steelhead (don’t wander too far from the river mouth, stay in the salt less than 1 year), and “half pounders” (1 year in the salt) during the winter run.
