Long ago, I switched to Fuji-chrome to replace my Kodachrome..It used an E-6 film that I could process myself...giving me a roll of transparencies that I could process and view that night. Today.. digital and AI imaging makes those nights of processing E-6 film so archaic.

RIT is the other school. My friend went there. He learned all about how to make photographic film. Not so much art oriented, but more of the technical side.

Yes that used to be THE place to learn commercial photography. I worked with several people that were taught there. I can only imagine how the curriculum will be changing with AI imaging.
