    Kona Hawaii Sportfishing Charters?

FYI- Costco in Kona has discount certificates for Umeke’s seafood and for one of the local sportfishing companies. Similar to what they have in Seattle for some restaurants and tourist activities.

    SFR Chickens..

No chance. Got my fill of chickens when I was a teenager. Worked several years at an egg ranch near my grandmother’s house in rural SoCal. 30,000 chickens in 90+ degree heat was enough for my lifetime. Unlike some new age egg ranches, we didn’t give them any names though! My next job was...

NFR For Those on Medicare/Specifically Kaiser Plan…. Help appreciated!

Like several others, I use an independent agent. This is the third year. I had done some research and looked at videos before that but the agent has been a huge help. I’m with United Healthcare Plan G. Gets reevaluated each year. My wife uses the same guy for help with the WA State...

Things you know now that you wish you did back then

I wish I had been told at the beginning that for the first few years of this sport “fly fishing” is actually code for “you don’t catch many fish”. It does get better though! And it’s almost always beautiful scenery.

Things you know now that you wish you did back then

Seems like a trip to RMNP to fish the Big Thompson should be in your future with him! Did it last year with 8yo granddaughter and she did great!

“We don’t talk about Bruno”. What can I say, just spent a few days with our now 9yo granddaughter!

NFR How's the housing market where you live?

Regarding not using a realtor: We purchased our current home in 2006. Only moved 4 doors down the street. Within a few days of the offer on the new place being accepted our old next door neighbors knocked on our door and said they would like to buy the old place. They are good people and we...
