When I was younger I conventionally fished the river and remember seeing plenty and able to catch also remember there being a good amount of bank space...

    Tying Resolutions / Goals for 2025

    Goal is to get back to tying, working nights made it difficult to have motivation to do anything really, and to get out and fish, and hopefully catch something on a fly I tied.

    My first attempts at stretch tube scud and foam beetle. The foam beetle was very enjoyable to tie.

    Sadly I got into the kit a bit, not the most matching of materials, but I think I may be able to make it work/ make up something slightly different with the kit. Plus just means more materials for the future as well.

    Well life got hectic hoping this next week during evenings on my work training trip I can sit down and continue tying flies, planning to pack my stuff and be able to enjoy the evenings tying. Picked up a waspi set for a number of flies, that I'll be using for it

    If I was close enough I'd love to, I'll try out both methods and see what I like, Thank you all for the warm welcome, i have one extra hook from the pack meant for the zebra midge as I managed to send the last bead into the abyss, so been thinking about using it for some kind of creation
